Glastonbury Festival 2019
Our Jason Ashman was employed for the week of Glastonbury Festival as the House Front of house engineer for the late night dance music stage in the South East Corner “Genosys”
All weekend we kept within the noise limits, The crowd were loving the incredible quality from the Martin Audio MLA Compact system. I was personally blown away by the MLA Compact’s ability so change its beam shape in real time meaning we can essentially “Open up” areas mainly at the back of the field as the field gets busier. Plus it sounded incredible all weekend.
I would personally like to thank RG Jones for their constant support of the two system technicians that worked effortlessly all weekend ensuring the best quality sound possible.
Once the rain cleared on the Thursday night we had one of the hottest Glastonbury’s I have had since the early 2000’s Most importantly there was no interruption to showers in our backstage compound! Good work site crew :)
Flashback Festival & 25 Years of Tobacco Factory
Flashback Festival held on Yeovil Showground in Somerset.
This 5000 Strong festival had a host of local talent aswell as Heather Small of M-People.
The main system comprised of a Electrovoice XLC System with 12 x X-Subs covering the low end. Monitor system was 14 x Turbosound TFM450 wedge monitors and 12 ways of Sennheiser G3 IEM. We deployed a Midas Pro2 at both front of house and monitors with Digital Multicores.
The Tobacco Factory on North Road in Bedminster Bristol has been a long standing client of ours for over 10 years.
This year marked the 25th Aniversary of George Furgeson buying the original building.
We supplied 2 small Active Yamaha systems for 2 areas. One being the main cafe where there was a host of local bands over the 2 days. The second area was the ever busy court yard to the rear of the building.
We also supplied a small stage to another one of our long standing clients Doreen Doreed in Yate. This was for a Greatest Showman themed Birthday party.
We also supplied a Electrovoice X-Line system with Yamaha Desks to this event.

Our Hibino LED Video wall is a 6mm Black front 5000 nit screen.
This screen is perfect for corporate events, Live events. We have a vast range of rigging options. Including flying equipment, ground stacking equipment for the Video wall.
We use the Hibino DLC-401 Video processors with the Hibino Video wall. The screens are cased in pairs and can be stacked 2 to 3 high in their cases.
Due to the quality of this wall and how easy the processing is to use making shapes and building alternative setups is easy and simple to plan.

Warehouse Move
Due to our expansion and logistical issues at the Anglo Trading Estate in Shepton Mallet. We have taken the option to move to outside of Shepton Mallet on the Lodge Farm Commercial Estate just outside of Doulting.
We have taken on extra space and a good sized yard. We now have space to have 2 trailer units parked on the yard at one time to be loaded. As well as more parking for customers and crew, as well as being in a much nicer environment.
We also have enough space and a flat enough surface to have just purchased a forklift. Making lifting all those heavy boxes very easy.
The move is going very well, Waiting for the next truck load of kit now.
Forklift
Due to our growing needs, We have invested in a Toyota Forklift!
The forklift will make unloading and loading vehicles at our yard in Shepton Mallet. And is already proving to be an extremely valuable asset!
We decided on a Gas Forklift as an electric forklift would be an issue if someone comes to unload a truck at 3am and its flat! A Diesel forklift would create to many fumes, So the only option for us was a Gas forklift.
Yamaha DXR Active Speakers
We hold stock of multiple Yamaha Active speakers. Including the 10” 12” and 15” versions as well as the additional subwoofers.
These little boxes are in constant use for Wedding PA Hire, Wedding Speech Hire, Childrens Discos, in Somerset and beyond.

Lyme Regis Cinema
We were called in by Lyme Regis Town Council to supply a large sound reinforcement solution for the showing of the film Jurassic Park. The brief was constant clear even sound across the whole hill side.
We used 3 x Martin Audio W8C Mid high cabinets a side with 4 x 18” WSX Horn loaded subwoofers. Amplification was taken care of by our Yamaha T5n Amplifiers.
SpringFest 2018
SpringFest Midsomer Norton 2018
We supplied a LiteDeck stage and a scaled down James Thomas ground support system for the 2018 SpringFest event held at the Midsomer Norton Football club in Somerset.
We took care of the sound also with our Martin Audio W8 Sound system driven by Yamaha amplification and Midas desk’s and lines systems.
We supplied a 15m Mojo style barrier for the front of the stage.
Tobacco Factory New Years Eve 2017 - 2018
Back for our 10th New Years Eve at the Tobacco Factory in Bristol.
We supplied L’Acoustics and Martin Audio systems across 5 rooms. We had a crew of 7 strong to cover the multiple complex changeovers.
This event is always one we look forward to, as normal the event sold out months in advance.
Upfest 2017
2017 Upfest at the Tobacco Factory in Bristol.
We supplied 2 systems across the site for this popular arts festival. First system was a L’Acoustics ARCS system with DV-Subs for the live music in the main cafe area. The second system was Martin W8 Wavefront system outside in the courtyard for some of Bristol’s finest drum and bass DJ’s.

What can we say, It rained! We supplied audio solutions and power distro for the Grain Barge stage in the car park of the Grain Barge Bristol.

Westfest finished, See you next year!
We were asked to supply a sound system for the Happy Hardcore stage at Slammin Vinyls Westfest 2016 event.
We supplied a 9 a side L’Acoustics DV-Dosc line array and 8 L’Acoustics DV-Sub for the 2000 strong crowd to enjoy.
Bodstock 2016
Bodstock is one of the events where it all started for us back in the early 2000’s
A group of good friends having a small party with A host of local talent including bands and DJ’s in memory of a friend who passed.
We have supplied the sound, lighting, staging and power distribution to all but the very first of these events for well over 10 years now.
This year we supplied a small L’Acoustics DV-Dosc sound system in to the main barn and a Martin Audio W8 system in to the smaller barn. All DJ kit was from Pioneer and Technics.
We look forward to the next installment of this crazy fun packed weekend.
